Dec 27, 2017 Only released on PC in the West just a couple of years ago, Clannad is one of the most popular visual novels ever—spawning an anime, a film, manga, and even an audio drama. Kanon was the first and last visual novel developed by Key that two of the main staff—Naoki Hisaya, and OdiakeS—worked on before pursuing a similar line of work in other visual novel studios. Release history. Kanon was released as an adult game on June 4, 1999 in limited and regular editions, playable on a Windows PC as a CD-ROM. Os x yosemite iso torrent. Her stoic personality was also that came as something new. Bu that was one of the things I loved about her. Compared to the other heroines of the Visual novel I think her route and story was effective.

- Personal Thoughts: This was actually a game that raised my standards for visual novels and galge significantly. Previously, I had played games like Shuffle and thought it was like the best game ever, only to have my paradigms overturned as I finally saw how a “good game” should be presented.
- Game Type: Slice of Life Romance Novel. Summary: Koutarou is a very introverted guy. Instead of playing sports or actively seeking new relationships, he would rather write his novels and stay inside. Naturally, he loves reading books and is actually quite fluent with writing novels, which even won him prizes when he was younger.

I'm a little more determined tonight, so I'm putting the question out there> What are your Eroge recommendations? where can I find them? can I purchase originals (English sub, unlocked for Australia) or can I play online? (I know nothing about this style of game) My ideals / requirements I want to play a dating sim style. Must have English subs. Probably school based, I like those. or maids :) Preferably more modern art style (think Love Live! off the top of my head) I think I might start with a more all ages and work my way up. but I really don't mind what level of H/ecchi. I'm a female. Please help! |

Sekai project have a few visual novel projects in progress and they might be of interest to you. On to Eroge recommendations, from what i know dating sim type games dont see a lot of western releases, most of what we get are ADV. Translated english ones i can think off the top of my head are: Maji de Koi Shinasai Princess Evangile Grisaia no Kajitsu Da Capo I, II, Kotori Love ExP Shuffle! If My Heart Had Wings My Girlfriend is the President at least, these are the ones that i have played. |

I'm a female. I guess you're after 'female protagonist/male dating options'? I decided to look on vndb and see what there was. Almost all of the most popular ones are heavily ecchi and feature a male protagonist. (like Grisaia no Kajitsu) I did find one series that fits everything bolded in your quote and is well rated though. No idea if the stories are continuous. Apparently each is better than the last. Tokimeki Girl's Side 1,2,3 All VN's with a female protagonist from top rated downwards. Edit: Wrong board btw. This probably goes in Video games or anime/manga recs. Now you're wondering if there's white text in any of my other posts. Over there, I'm everywhere. I know that. |

Offline Joined: Oct 2013 Posts: 2 | Thank you SensouNoKami and Icirate for the advice. I'll take a look at the websites. I found a link to If My Heart Had Wings right after I posted, I might check that one out since its on steam. Actually Icirate, Yuri options would be great, but I didn't want to push my luck, so i'm fine playing a male protagonist. ------ The game/tech support forum seemed to be full of COD, LOL or. well, technical support, my question didn't seem to fit there, and Eroge is more of a game than an anime/manga. it didn't really seem to go into any of the forum categories so I defaulted to 'General' I'll keep that in mind for next time though, thanks :) |

Since one route is all about progressing from sex-friends to proper lovers, it was turned into gibberish. There is a fan restoration-patch, but it only adds the sex-scenes, the TL remains unreadable. The Re-Translation is in progress, but it still isn't finished. You should probably pass on that VN (at least until it will be re-translated), unless you have a very high tolerance for awful writing. If you like girl x girl romance, you can try: Not 18+: Hanahira, Natsu no Hi no Resonance (freeware), Lonely Yuri, Aoishiro and Amaranto. 18+: Katahane (slow-paced, low sexual content, multiple protagonists with two main romances - 1 Yuri, 1 hetero), Sono Hanabira series (highly focused on ero, but well, it's still very cute). For more general recommendation - just check the list of highest-rated translated titles on VNDB. You can play with filters a bit to fine more specific stuff. Note that all titles mantioned in this thread (except Tokimeki) are pure visual novels (just reading, no gameplay other than a few choices). Dating sims are a bit different - they have stats-based gameplay and usually more simplistic storylines. I don't play those, so I can't really recommend anything here. |

That makes life so much easier! There are tons of Yuri VN's out there such as the- what Pabloc said. If you don't mind playing a male protagonist, I have to recommend Katawa Shoujo. It lacks voice acting but makes up for it with really well-developed characters and romances that don't feel contrived. Although exactly what the protagonist could see in Suzune is still beyond me! Otherwise for Yuri genre, check out the 'A kiss for the Petals' series. |
